Here are some pictures of a new painting.   Just following basic steps right now and trying to add in a few new techniques.  I'm also trying to keep my canvas wet while I paint.  It seems to be helping alot.     This painting was done on 1-9-11.  Its 12" x 48"  and its for sale if anyone is interested.  Checkout more at http://www.facebook.com/DAMartworks

So here is a little video I put together from my trip to DC over the holidays.  I am now a fan of an amazing painter, Arcimboldo (1526-1593). So I'm gonna use this to show Technics and new methods of creating artwork.  I do mostly pencil drawings now but I'm slowly expanding to painting and mixed media.  I'm trying to link up with people that can teach me some new things and critic my work
